Home Groups: The Best Way To Be In Community
Home Groups are what we call our small groups here at Western Hills. They are filled with dynamic people who grow closer to Jesus together and live their life through a shared effort to live out god's mission faithfully.
Join Jason as he gives you more information about what a Home Group is and how they function at Western Hills.
Here are the Onramps to joining a Home Group:
Sunday Morning Classes: If you've plugged in to one of our classes, ask the people in your class about Home Groups. Many of our bible class leaders also lead a Home Group.
Personal Relationship: Know a friend in a home group? Ask them about their Home Group!
Contact Jason Clark: If you want to join a home group or see what they're all about, talk to our Home Groups Minister, Jason Clark. He's a big, goofy guy who loves life, Jesus, and comfy clothes, so look for him in the Worship Center wearing Crocs, cargo shorts, and a bright Magellan fishing shirt!
Scott Meyer talks about how we use the Discipleship Triangle to ensure that we are continually growing closer to Jesus and living out the abundant life that he promised us.
Scott Seela breaks down the areas of the Western Hills Children's Ministry: Baby Crew (under 2), Crew Jr. (preschoolers) and Crew (Kindergarten-4th Grade). The Western Hills Children's Ministry partners with families to instill key Check Points in the lives of kids to equip them as they live with Jesus and on Mission as Jesus Followers.
Riley Stirman talks about how in the Western Hills Youth Group, or WHY, students are radically impacted by God's love and have their lives transformed into the image of Jesus.
